Manual visual inspection cannot reliably catch a partially printed pad or a void under a BGA. We therefore put the decisions at points where a number can be produced: solder paste volume from SPI, three-dimensional measurements from 3D AOI, internal joint imaging from X-Ray, and pass/fail electrical and functional results from the FCT fixture.
All information — from first customer contact through production, shipment and after-sales — is recorded in our own ERP system. If a board fails in the field, the full process record can be retrieved to identify the batch, equipment and workstation involved.
